Clinical Hypnotherapy Supervision
What is Clinical Hypnotherapy Supervision?
Whether you have just qualified or are an experienced hypnotherapist, having supervision is an extremely useful for ongoing professional development and sharing any concerns issues etc, that can arise from time to time.
Supervision offers a confidential framework within a collaborative working relationship in which the practice, tasks, process and challenges of the coaching work can be explored. The primary aim of supervision is to enable the coach to gain in ethical competency, confidence and creativity so as to ensure best possible service to the coaching client, both coachees and coaching sponsors. Supervision is not a ‘policing’ role, but rather a trusting and collegial professional relationship.
Supervision & CPD Policy

Practitioners within the various branches of healthcare feel that it is important to meet with a colleague (or colleagues) to discuss, in confidence, ongoing cases and issues arising from them and to work through any personal matters that might affect their own position or ability as practising therapists. Such arrangements can take a variety of forms, the most usual of which are either personal One to One Supervision or participation within a Peer Support Group.

Newly qualified Registrants are expected to engage in this beneficial process for a minimum of 2 hours in any 3 month period during their first 2 years of practice.
