Gill is a Callahan approved algorithm trainer and you may have seen her in action on TV when she eradicated Whoopi Goldberg's fear of flying. Gill is also a valued member of the team that assists Paul Mckenna in his trainings in London and Birmingham. Paul is often to be seen using this technique in his television programmes, on stage and it is a section in most of his life changing books.
The algorithm course takes place over 2 days and you will learn all you need to be able to help people with a variety of problems as well as chance to practice the techniques. For this special course you will either cover day one as part of the Diploma in Professional & Clinical Hypnotherapy Course or attend Friday 27th January at The Holiday Inn, London Gatwick Airport, Day 2 will also be at The Holiday Inn.
This two-day course follows the syllabus approved by the Association of Thought Field Therapy and is an ideal "entry-level" course for those with an interest in TFT for personal and family use, and for those with previous experience in other therapeutic disciplines who wish to become TFT Practitioners.

Thought Field Therapy (TFT) was developed over 20 years ago by Dr. Roger J. Callahan Ph D, a clinical psychologist. Dr Callahan discovered that by moving the body's energy in specific ways, distressing emotions could by eliminated, without the use of drugs or any other invasive means.
TFT is based on a combination of Chinese medicine, Clinical Psychology and the bodys energy system. By tapping various points in a precise order, problems can be eliminated in a short time, without years of therapy.

Q. What is Thought Field Therapy (TFT) ?
A. TFT is a technique for resolving emotional and psychological issues. It works by tapping on various acupressure points with the fingertips, whilst thinking about the specific problem . This process is capable of disabling and eliminating troublesome emotional and physical responses.
Q. What happens during a TFT Session ?
A. Firstly the scale of the specific problem needs to be ascertained, this is done by measuring between 0 - 10, 10 being the severity of the problem. The client will then follow the sequence of tapping points as instructed by the practitioner, whilst thinking about the specific problem.
Q. What is the difference between TFT and EFT ?
A. TFT stands for Thought Field Therapy and was developed by Dr Roger Callahan PhD, over 20 years. TFT works on specific sequences of tapping points according to the specific presenting problem. This method ensures that the relevant specific acupressure points are tapped in a specific sequence, which makes the treatment bespoke for the client. As the sequencing is specific it has a higher degree of success.
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique and was developed by Gary Craig some years after TFT. Gary trained in TFT with Roger, he then developed his own system which works on the same principle of using acupressure points, although there is not specific sequences for specific problems. It has a long or short sequence for all problems.
Q. Is TFT like Hypnosis or Hypnotherapy ?

TFT has been used recently by Paul McKenna on GMTV, he demonstrated how to use this technique to get rid of phobias, he also how shown how to use it to help with weight loss.
